Corruption

A collage project for my design class.

Reflection:

Bad politics kill good citizens, foreign and domestic. People die for their lies. Propagandas staged for their own profit. Their twisted minds and hands control the weak and the vulnerable. Tongues speak of inspiring truths and promises to camouflage the corruption within. Behold, the real 21st century terrorists.

I'm not accusing each and every one of them though. Neither am I a big fan of politics. No, Never. It's just that, these pricks get elected for promises they eventually never fulfill till the end of their term. And we've always believed them. That is a fact.

My final piece has symbolical meanings in them, both obvious and not so obvious. First and foremost, the skulls in place on the soldiers’ heads depict their obvious fate of demise in the hands of their so-called leaders. Whilst their red guns do not symbolize courage. They symbolize the bloods they purposely intended to spill. The all-seeing eye is a symbol that always has something to do with conspiracy, popularized by pop culture as the symbol of the secret society, the Illuminati. As for the ugly attempt of mine of making the left arm look like a left arm, it is actually deliberately made to look like that, twisted. Like their brains and tongues. The waving kid symbolizes one of their cunning ways to win the hearts and minds of the easily fooled public. The moneybag speaks for itself.
